A Unique Approach Through Therapeutic Mentoring™
The Common Sense Therapy™
What is a mentor? It's a wise and loyal teacher. And a therapist is someone who helps people clarify their goals and bring them into being.
As a Therapeutic Mentor I will:
- Assist you in facing the discomfort of breaking old patterns.
- Help you to shore-up your strengths so you can gain the courage to withstand the anxiety that accompanies stepping in new directions.
- Introduce a common sense dialogue into your life where you'll learn to ask yourself different kinds of questions that, as a child, you weren't supposed to ask.
- Guide you in learning how to use these questions to assess your life more rationally and less emotionally. So that rather than living by impulse, you use reason and clear thinking.
Once you learn how to bring this logical and rational perspective to each situation that involves decision-making, you will see that there are many more options available. This common sense therapeutic approach can help you focus-in quickly on the root of the problem. It will then allow you to establish a plan of action. You will learn how to use the tools that are necessary to realize your goals — tools that that will help you overcome emotional inertia and create positive movement.
